Sam

From a young age, Sam knew she was destined for a career in the animal care/medicine field. She enrolled in the three-year veterinary technician program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, and was able to graduate on time despite a six-week strike in her first year and a world pandemic in her third year! Sam enjoys every aspect of the job, but being in one of the surgery rooms monitoring patients is her happy place. Sam’s hobbies include playing her flute, reading, crocheting, and spoiling her three cats: Kali, Velcro and Patches!
